Wait list for hemmoroid

im on the waitlist for surgery but my pile has shrunk i know it will flair up again in time ive been dealing with it for 5 years. if its shrank can they not do surgery ?

    get the surgery regardless, it just gets worst in time..

      i do want the surgery i am worried if my pile has shrunk the dr wont do surgery.

    Quite a number of people on this forum have not been too happy with surgeries they had got done. Hence you may wish to consult more persons who have been through such a procedure. Good luck.

      Hi Mary I had the surgery in February . I had piles for 30 year always going and then coming back . I understand your worries as I was the same but the quality of life was taking it till. It's not nice surgery but I'm glad I had it done . Will take at least 4 weeks before you feel yourself but everyone is different. Hope you do whatever's best for you x

      i do want the surgery however im on a waitlist could be another 6 months and my friend who is a nurse said if they have shrunk at the time of surgery then they would not be able to do it . i feel fed up as they always do come back

      I would wait and see till your appointment comes . I was the same but the doctor will make that call . just tell them it affects your quality of life . fingers crossed they will do it for you
