Waiting for ankle surgery.

Hello all,

I am currently waiting for surgery in my ankle. i have a torn ligament and need some tidying up done on cartilage and bone defects. i have been wearing an aircast boot for at least 9 months now and have been in the waiting list for surgery since September. Hopefully i should be booked in for the operation at the end of next month. i have been in a lot of pain with this and over the last few days have had problems with my whole leg. i had an electric shock sensation in my thigh which then felt like my whole leg seized up, worse than cramp feeling. and also my leg feels like it has pins and needles constantly which make my leg feel very heavy and put more pressure on my ankle which is causing more pain. i have noticed my ankle reacts badly to cold and have had problems with my foot not being able to heat up. i was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or has any advice on this. just getting a bit unbearable now. Thankyou!
