Waiting for results back. 26 years old

I had HSV  IGG blood work done on the 19th I'm going crazy waiting for the answer. How long did it take for your results to come back?

Why I was tested?

I've been having paper like cuts on my prenium/lower vaginal enterance. The first one happened almost two years ago, I was at a resort with some friends and I thought the terrible scratchy thin toilet paper gave me a cut.

Fastforward a month or two ago we switched toilet paper at my house hold for a thinner more rough surface and I kept getting cuts again, I also thought it was my underwear because I mostly got it when I wore certain types of underwear and when I wore short tight shorts.

About two weeks ago I had the biggest "outbreak" right before I got sick with a stomach bacterial infection. I had cuts that went from my prenium to close to my clitoris though it started out as if I had dry skin. My main concern was that these cuts would end up getting infected since I had dierreah and they were so close to my anus.

I went to the hospital 2 days later they saw no fissures, but found a growth in my uterus. On the 19th I was told I had a tennis ball size fibroid... and I asked my Gyno about the cuts wondering if they were related. She told me she's almost 100% certain its herpes. I asked her for a whole STD/STI check including herpes, and she told me we wouldn't know if I have it even if the blood work comes back negative but at least we'll know if I experienced an out break right? The only way to know for sure is if these cuts come back to get it swabbed.

Now I'm sitting here losing my mind because I haven't heard anything back. They posted the results for chlamedya and siphelilis on my personal patient page, came back negative. But nothing else...

Last Oct. I had gotten bumps around my clitoris, and it was itchy when I went pee and just in general. I went to the doctor thinking I had a yeast infection that wouldn't clear up. They swabbed the bumps and about a week and a half later the doctor called me and told me I had HSV1 genitally.

Not gonna lie, I thought my life was over. But, I have come to see its really not the end of the world. I have done so much research and I am now pregnant with my first baby and I have a fiance who I am marrying next year. Just wanted to shed some light and hope. Fingers crossed that you reaults come back negative, regardless.

It took around 1.5-2 weeks for my results but I had a blood and a swab test done, mine wasn't really like paper cuts or anything it was almost like an infected hair and kinda raw,it would itch and burn and made me feel all kinds of yucky, I'm 39 years old and I hate the fact that I'm gonna have to deal with this for the rest of my life, I'm curious as to why some have few breakouts and others can't catch a break from them, your in my prayers and I hope for good results.. always feel free to talk to someone about this type of thing even tho I feel miserable about it I try to talk about it.

Thank you for the replies and best wishes. I got my results today, it was negative. I' so relieved but my gyno told me I was not in the clear yet, if I get that "outbreak" again I need to get it swabbed to rule it out 100%. My SO has cold sores so I was pretty sure I was going to test positive. We both are a little confused, because of my incident we learned a lot about herpes and how it can be transmitted. We'll be a lot safer now.
