I was taking Zoloft for the first two weeks is started to work fine only side effects was that I was starting to eat more then I stopped taking it for a week because I didn't want to gain weight now I started back taking it waiting for the effect to kick in Will It kick in do I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks again. I've been taking it now for over 5 weeks or less.

Gosh, I don't know the answer to that.
I would ask a qualified Pharmacist who will know much more about stop/start and blood levels.
Give Boots (or similar) a call, or pop in; the pharmacists are usually v helpful, and knowledgeable.
