Does anyone else wake up shaking, in a pool of sweat, confused and anxious?

I will admit i haven't taken my Citalopram for almost 6 months, day to day i feel great. New job, new place, new town. All fine. Then i wake up shaking at 5am out of the blue in a pool of my own sweat feeling disorientated.

Hi Cmg 1989/that is a cause of anxiety ,you could take 10 mgs of medication just to take the bite out.

Why did you stop the cita?

Honestly, quite a few reasons. The main 2 was; the side effects which were terrible the fact i wasn't me on them. Didn't lower my anxiety even when i was on the highest dose, just made me feel like a less productive, sadder, not driven and just like a constant meh of emptiness. When i'm not in an anxious situation now most of the time i'm fine, on citalopram i wouldn't have the energy or mindset to do anything on a day off.

I've been off work with a couple of illnesses over the past week so out of the pressure and anxious cause. I've been fine. Blockers are helping. Hopefully everything will get sorted thats causing it all.

wow! I'll say a prayer you pull through this. I know what you mean about the anxiety and side effects. I had a rough time going through them for about 5-6 months.

I'm on 10mg since 2/24/18. I'm back to myself and focus better than I ever did.

I know many people have great success with the blockers. 😃
