Walking boot pain in heel

I just recently started wearing a maxtrax air walker boot. I sprained my ankle a couple days ago. I got fitted for my boot yesterday. I walk all day at work and by the middle of my shift my heel of my foot was in excruciating pain. I couldn't hardly walk. I don't know why this happens. I wore a support stocking with my boot so the boot wouldn't rub on my skin. This pain in my heel is worse than my ankle sprain. So I can relate to those who are experiencing this.
