Walking Buddies

Good morning everyone. I wanted to share my walking motivation, they keep me on my feet, my constant companions while I heal up. My furry friends Harley the lab and Hillary the fat little Chi.  Oh and I have two cats to Sugar and Spice but they could care less to be dragged outside to go for walks with me. I hope everyone is having a good recovery day today. I finally had a full nights sleep in MY BED!!! it's been 7 weeks since I've been able to do that.

Hi Susan, your dogs are gorgeous and they really give you the motivation to get out and about don't they ?  I live in the rural Scottish Borders and have a little collie called Taffy who I walk every day. He never complains about my speed !!!!  I also have two cats ( jinx and Sophie ) who accompany us on our walks every day. All my neighbours have a smile when they see the four of us out. I had right THR oct 14 and the left THR done on dec 14 so it has been a bit of a struggle, however light at the end of the tunnel, I go back to work on 12th may. I can't wait for life to get back to normal. Wishing you a speedy recovery and lots of lovely walks !!! Love Maggie xxx

Now as to my cats lol, I wish they would go out for walks with me but they are so spoiled and have no desire to venture outside all I get are these indignant looks when I suggest i. Hilary and Harley are handful enough expecially chubby Hillary she can really move for a fat little pudge. I need to get out and walk to build up endurance. I will be returning to work on June 8th. I work in the same Operating Room where I had my surgery. I will have to be on my feet for 8 hours or more a day so I'm hoping my co-workers will have mercy on me.
