Walking uphill with GERD

Hi, Does anybody else feel terrible after walking uphill? or climbing stairs?

I have GERD and have felt fine swimming, but walking uphill seems to bring on all my symptoms...I would love to hear from anyone else that might have experienced this.

Hey friend, even i have same symptoms like you confused with heart related but ruled out cardiac issues and i suffered breathless with heavy gas in my chest area while climbing stairs or exertion and scary part my heart goes 170 bpm, i checked with doctor he said nothing to worry it can be Gerd triggering this.

my advice to you avoid spicy foods n diary products which leads to acidity that's reflux upward to your food pipe.

Slow breathe techniques while climbing stairs in your nose as well as mouth and mainly when we are thinking lot about this issue where anxiety first affect our gut which can run in loop rather subsiding the problem

please practice Yoga n meditation, god bless you

Yes, i have this case too, if you are walking up the stairs rest after 3 flight of stairs. Mouth breathing helps me decrease the symptoms
