Want to stop Escitalopram 10 mg

Dear All

I have been taking Escitalopram 10 mg for over 5 months and now i am deciding to stop it so I have stopped taking it since one week and now my head is heavy and I have certain weight on my head

How can I stop it

    Did you have any side effects when you started on escitazapram?

    I think you may need to start taking it again and then slowly taper off it.

    I am just about to do that after being on it for 5 months too.

    I had sever side effects starting it so am expecting to feel the effects of going off it too.

    Hi. It's best to taper off slowly. This is a particularly strong drug and side effects can be rough, same when you stop. Drink lots of water to help flush it out of your system.
