Wanting to chat to people about their contraceptive history for research purposes

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi everyone, I am a student at Trinity College Dublin currently conducting qualitative research into the contraceptive experience on the NHS of women under 30. I am particularly interested in speaking to anyone who has had the coil or the implant - currently or in the past. The aim of my research is to strengthen the patient voice and understand how people interact with medical professionals and what factors influence their contraceptive choice.

If you would like to be interviewed and share your experience I could conduct a telephone/Skype interview or meet you face to face in a public location depending on where you live in the country and what you prefer.

Interviews are recorded and are entirely confidential. Recordings will be destroyed once the research is complete and has been submitted this Autumn. All data is anonymised within the research. A consent form is given at interview but I can also provide it before to look at

A little bit about me: I graduated from Cambridge last year with a BA in Anthropology and Politics. I am now working in the Gender Studies field with a keen interest in public health and its relation to women's rights and sexuality.

Please don't hesitate to comment or message me if you are interested or have further questions
