Wanting to to stop taking antidepressants

    replace meds with therapy, therapy will give you more chance of a more stable future than meds ever can

    I was on sertraline 50mg for a month, I took myself of it. ( mainly because i lost a stone and a half in 4 weeks) ,I wouldnt advise to do that.. speak to your doctor first. It depends how long you've been taking it. I feel better from stopping it and booked myself in with a therapist, better to start a more natural approach. With medication you have to work it. Therapy helps clear your mind and they will give you advice on how to deal with day to day worries.

    Well one they have made me put on over stone and a half and 2 I do think they even work I have been taking over 2 years I was going to cut them in half and take half a day for a couple of weeks but does it matter if tablet breaks and how to cut without it breaking?

    Here are my tips if you want to stop antidepressants you should cut it down slowly do not stop it all of a sudden then have therapy on the side while you are slowly going off your meds 

    Also do coping skills if you feel anxious

    I take propanolol 3x day 10 mg what really helps but don't think antidepressants do so I might as well stop plus putting weight on I just want to know how to half tablets properly
