you go with mini monovision ......
i have had both eyes implanted with the vivity lens 6 months ago and i wanted to share my experience
roller coaster ..... lots of dry eye and weird stuff happened the first few weeks but after my eyes settled in i was feeling pretty good. but not good in dim lit rooms , night , rain , dusk , cloudy -- in these conditions the distance vision gets washed out .. talked to my doctor and since i had mini monovision she had me try a contact lens to bring my nearsighted eye back to plano which was .5 and OMG It was like i had a complete change in distance vision but how is this possible it is only .5 well turns out if you do the research as i did after the lens has terrible contrast in low like when tested monocular ... but is better binocular ..... so the .5 for me brings both eyes the same and improves contrast to a level i cant explain but wait why wouldnt everyone just do plano you ask ..... oh yeah the reading ......so if i have the contact in to simulate plano in both eyes i hold the phone about 20 inches away to see comfortably i can see it closer but its strain .... with the monvision its comfortable at about 14 inches ...
So vivity has a ton of pros no positive dysphotopsia like you would get with panoptix but believe it or not has worse contrast than panoptix with both eyes and the contrat gets 10 times worse with one eye ...
just think real hard before doing mini monovision so you dont end up in my position

As I posted in another thread (waiting for moderation...) I think a better combination for monovision is to have a standard monofocal lens set for distance in the dominant eye, and a Vivity in the close eye. The monofocal lens has significant more contrast sensitivity (MTF) and can make up better for the loss in the Vivity. This is an example of the MTF for each eye when on is monofocal, and the other is a Vivity under corrected by 0.75 D.

you might be right ... for me though my options are lasik touchup to push non dominant eye out and wear reading glasses or just wear a contact lens or struggle in dim lit areas lol i cant get a lens exchange but i do hear alot of good things about the eyhance as well for people that want a little more range

Yes, options become more limited after the implants are done. I have thought a lot about going with Vivity in my second eye. I have a monofocal AcrySof set for distance in my first eye. However I have kind of dismissed it due to the concerns about contrast sensitivity loss, and I think overall I would be happier with a monofocal in my second eye but under corrected by 1.25 D. I am currently simulating that solution by wearing one contact in my left non IOL eye. This solution is working very well and I almost never wear glasses. Pretty sure that is the way I will go when it comes time to do the second eye. I also will be happy to stop the extra hassle of wearing a contact.

honestly without the contrast situation the vivity is a no brainer ... had no clue about the issues before getting it done and i was prob one of first 20 people in the us to get it ... i know im complaining alot but the lens is almost perfect in light and daytime no positive dysphotopsia .. colors pop .. its almost just like my normal lens ... if they figured this out without the contrast loss it would be the new monofocal .. However i am still glad i think that i didnt get the panoptix because i think those issues would really bother me the glare and halo but also i think it is impossible to tell until you get them in your eye ..I am just trying to inform people of my real life experience not what a graph says ..... but they do talk about contrast alot with this lens and they should its worse than a panoptix with both eyes and terrible with one eye according to the research ... my worst case is getting a lens exchange but i would have to be certain ... i really like my distance vivity it just needs help in low light and my left eye isnt cutting it at .5 behind lol

hi !
that is very good advices!
I am going for one lens first, set to distance- probably vivity.
I'm curious - if you could choose another lens today, which would you choose in both eyes? or would you still have vivity?
how sre you doing today?
