Wart that has become a blister, not sure if infected (pic attached)

Hi, i developed a blister last october, it was very slow to heal but after treating it with off the shelf treatment. eventually the core of the wart fell out.

It blistered and then the scab came off it looked like it hadnt healed. its on the bottom of my finger so its hard to stop it from catching.

when i bandage it up it seems to not scab, when i air it the scab develops but im more likely to catch it.

recently ive noticed a different layer of skin on one side of the blister, does anyone know what this is?

ive already booked in to see a doctor

Maybe you need to ask your doctor for a full blood count and a clotting blood test to be on the safe side. Do you bruise easy?

Daniel, it could be a basil cell.   I had an infected mole removed that had turned into a basil.  Good luck, glad you are seeing about it.

i have this exact same thing and i havent been able to find out what it is. did you ever get a diagnosis or did the doctor inform you of what it is/could be?

    Hi,

i eventually went to the doctor who thought it may have been skin cancer, luckily when i was referred to a dermatologist he confirmed it was a persistent viral infection.

i had a procedure where they cut it out. finger now completely healed and its finally gone
