    Hi anomtb

I had a genital wart about 12 years ago. I had it frozen off with liquid Nitrogen.

A few months later I had a further crop of three warts. I spotted them when they were quite small so the clinic gave me Warticon to use myself. This cleared them after a couple of weeks treatment.

Then a few month later I got one more outbreak of acouple of warts. i used the remainder of the same tube of Warticon on them and again cleared them in 2-3 weeks. That was my last outbreak.

Although he Warticon was effective I found it fidley to apply. Also difficult to tell when to discontinue the applications.

As I expect you understand the Warticon only corrodes off the warts that are there. It doesn't prevent recurrence. I understand that my experience is a common one and theres about a 50% chance of your immune system clearing out the virus inside two years.

    Good luck

      hi Mark,

thanks for the info! did your warts turn white after applying warticon? and did they just fall off or just slowlt disappear? Ive tried looking online for what it meant to happen but there isnt much info. ive used it for the past 3 days and there doesnt seem to be much change but i dont know if i just need to be more patient with it! I just want them gone now so i can clear the virus and hopefully never get reoccurences.

It's a few years ago but I believe the warts did turn white, while the skin immediately surrounding the wart went red. It's pretty difficult to completely keep the Warticon off the surrounding skin.

They didn't fall off so I found it difficult to know when to stop treatment. There always seemed to be some wart left in the middle. However it did kill the wart virus because they never grew back in exactly the same spot.

Basically these creams will clear visible GW up within a week or two.

The idea is that it helps your body build an immunity to it which helps fight them.

To help this try and cut down on caffeine as well and up some intake of greens (super foods). You will notice after a few years they will never come back.

I've always been told warticon has worked better than aldara as a cream but cyro us the quickest fix.
