Warts on penis, what is this?

    Looks like warts.

      Those seem clustered together to be warts. You will need a doctor to confirm either one. Did you had any sexual contact before the appearance of it?

      would salicylic acid help with the removal/help it go away

    Dear Yaboiski,

    I would NOT recommend salicyclic acid. It is too caustic and could burn the surrounding skin quite easily. The recommended treatments for genital warts, in no particular order, are:

    a. Liquid nitrogen cryotherapy

    b. Imiquimod (Aldara) cream

    c. Podophyllotoxin (Condylin liquid 0.5% or Warticon cream 0.15%)

    The lesions in the photo look keratinised, so maybe a few shots of cryotherapy should do the trick; you and your partner should also get screened for other STDs.
