Was diagnosed with bacterial Vaginosis but nothing is working

I went to the med stop Monday because I knew something wasn't right with my china. I told him that I was having white discharge and my pearly girl was very very itchy.. I didn't have any odor it was just discharge and a itchy china. I've notice in the hood of my pearly girl that its like brown dried up substance. It has the consistency of dough like it would if you had a yeast infection but it's brown and it's under the skin of my pearly girl. If I wear a panty liner my discharge will be yellow if fresh and tan if its has dried up. I've been taking flagyl since Sunday twice a day and I was prescribed some antibiotics for a yeast infection but I'm. Still itching and I'm still having symptoms..

The itching is very aggravating..

Hello, I also took Flagyl and one that starts with an M. Both to try and treat this chronic BV I’ve been suffering from, mine is a foul odor that won’t go away and a clear discharge. After those two antibiotics didn’t work I was prescribed Tinidazole. That helped a little, but the odor won’t go away. Now I’m doing tea tree oil mixed with water each day and applying that to my vag after my morning showers and again at night before bed. It is proven to help with BV. Also try switching to more all natural body washes and do not use douches or vaginal wipes like vagisil etc. switch undies to 100% cotton and try sleeping with no underwear at night to let it air out down there. Also purchase a good probiotic and take that once a day. Unfortunately for some of us no matter what we try it comes back or stays. But maybe there will be hope for you! Let us know how it goes. Health clinics and doctors seem to Day it’s not spread sexually, however I disagree. I think men do carry and pass it and the heath system doesn’t want to treat them, so that women like us have to deal with the consequences... I have not had sex after a new partner I had and noticed the BV a few weeks after after having unprotected sex. (Something to think about) good luck!
