Hi my name is Manny,

For quite some time I've been itchy near my groin area upper thigh and between my scrotum.

At first I thought it was jock itch so I used over the counter cream for a pharmacy.

Time passed by and me and my partner been having sexual intercourse.

Today I woke up and I saw that I had this when I was showering I was scrubbing down near my groin

It was like a lump & it hurt when I touched it. Thought it was a cyst and I squeezed it and blood came out & saw I had like a rash around it.

I am not sure if it's genital Herpes and I didn't want to have to pass it down to my partner.

I was he first in sex and I've had multiple partners in the past but I always checked myself & I've been with my partner for 3 years. Now I have this does anyone know what this is .. please help.

    1. How long you have this symptom

    2. Describe it color, and how many they are and if it's spreading

That doesn't sound like herpes. Herpes lesions are on the surface, not below the skin like the bump you can feel, plus yours has remained on the long side to be herpes. It should be fully healed by 3 weeks on average if herpes. It probably is a cyst or similar. The dry skin around it is likely overstretched skin that's "died". Go get it checked out if you're concerned and to be safe.
