Watery discharge, tingling and cramps

Hi, my periods have been irregular for quite a while but the last 2 were the same length apart so I was expecting one. However I'm now 1 week late, nothing unusual but this time I've found I feel different. I've had some pressure like feelings down below, had it in bowel and bladder aswell as tingling around vagina area. Yesterday and today has been worse and I feel like I need to wee more, also have like period cramps in pelvic area. I've got some dryness with all this and been a little achy and itchy down there too. I've also developed a watery clear none smelling discharge. I'm reckoning this sounds like vaginal atrophy? Anyone else get symptoms like this before a late period arrives?

I'm going to try and get a doctors appointment but it will be via phone call.

    Hi Lesley,

Yes, every time my periods become unpredictable, I get this same thing.

Everything down below feels dry, irritated. like it's shriveling.

And I get the plain watery discharge also... usually for a day or two.

Feel like I have to pee all the time.

Anything that happens in my gut is uncomfortable... gas and pressure, bm and pressure, constipation and pressure, diarrhea and pressure... sorry, tmi.

    Bloated all the time.

Eventually, I will start spotting or bleed a little.

5 or 6 days of feeling like death... like my body is trying so very hard to bleed but can't.

Then I feel mostly normal for... a week. Maybe a little more.

    Then it starts all over.

If my periods stick to any semblance of a regular schedule, I feel pretty decent. But as soon as they start coming late or not at all, It's chaos.

I went on generic Vivelle dot patch and oral progestigen about 14 months ago, and periods were regular and very light and symptoms were mild, for almost a year. It was lovely. Lately I am back to being unpredictable and feeling crummy.

Are you taking anything for symptoms?

    Hope you feel better quick!
