Watery right eye for several months, what could cause this?

Posted , 2 users are following.

for the past 3 months or so my right eye has been excessively tearing up. I don't have any past conditions or allergies that might have influenced this, and it's also only the one eye. It does become worse when I'm outside, but even after waking up I'm noticing it. It seems to have gotten worse in the past week or two, to the point where I'm constantly dabbing away tears, even though I haven't been outside for hours. I don't feel any pain, discomfort or feel like there is something stuck in my eye. Also so history with allergies, so highly unlikely that it could be that. Any idea what could cause this?

Your tear duct may be blocked and the normal tears during the day cant drain away. Look at your bottom eyelid on the inner corner, near your nose. You should be able to see a tiny hole. Thats your tear drainage duct, which drains into the back of your nose. You can try warm compresses and gentle massage to unblock it but if no luck you will have to see your doctor.
