You must always do warm up stretches before exercise.

Cold muscles and cold tendons are much more apt to develop problems.

After warm exercises, do strengthening exercises.

Do not forget to include your foot

    kind regards

I know what you mena about needing to strengthen tendons generally.

I have so far had plantar fasdciitis, achillese tendonitis, impinged supraspinatus and now De Quervains tendonopathy. I would love to know if there is any way of generally improving tendon strength.

tendons are the fibrous ends of a muscle. Contract a muscle, and you pull on a tendon as well.

So exercise the muscle and you will strengthen the tendon.
