Hi there
I am also weaning of biso 2.5mgs. My suggestion is like myself wean off it very slowly. I am now on day 53 and down to about 1.8mgs a day. You may be lucky and not have any withdrawal symptoms but mine have been terrible. We have bought a 0.001g pocket jewellery scale from ebay about £10 and weighed the tablet then shaved a little of each day but stayed on the same weight for several days to let the body adjust before reducing further and although I am having withdrawal symptoms I am able to cope with them. The first time my husband did shave some of it was about .1mg and this was too much as the withdrawal landed me in hospital for 3 days so now we are shaving 0.01mg about every 4 days. We also use clean sandpaper to shave down as this can be done more efficiently and easier than a razor blade. It will take a long time to stop altogether but the longer it takes the easier you body gets back to normal.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Thank you so much for replying. i was also thinking about buying a scale to do that because i was afraid to split the 2.5mg into half (which is already been split from the5mg), some doctors told me to take the 2.5mg every other day but that didnt work well but i will try again hopefully this time wokrks.
Hope you're getting better soon !

You could ask you doctor for 2.5mg and 1.25mg tablets. Mine was quite happy to do that. Also if the tablet is scored down the middle the medication is evenly distributed (2.5mg is scored) but if there is no score line you cannot guarantee the dosage that you are cutting.
I am at the moment taking a 1.25mg tablet and then cutting the 2.5mg in quarters and shaving each quarter to get the correct amount.
