Wear and tear,

HI I am 58, menopausel, have had mri scan , have wear and tear bottom of back and neck and sholders, also have had a life of depression and anxiety, is there any medication that works well for people on this site, with the same problems, thank you

    Hi, I have had back pain for eight months with tingling from nerve compression etc.  Nortriptylene has worked well for me for pain.  It doesn’t take it away completely but it helps and it is also an anti depressant.  Gabapentin helps elevate mood and helps pain too.  It may be a case of trialing which works best for you.

    I have chronic back pain, for any medication you are best checking with your doctor. I do take gabapentin and amytripline.I also use arnica gel. After my MRI I was referred to the pain clinic who were brilliant,if you are offered them say yes.By chatting to people in the group I found being outside helps me relax and chill which in turn helps with the pain.
