Wearing compression calf sleeve

Hi. I’ve got a a dvt in both legs. I found wearing a compression calf sleeve helps with the aching and tightness. But my dr says not to wear them because I’ve already got th dvt. But I find not wearing them makes my symptoms worse. Looked on line and some people wear them some don’t. Help

I'd say if they help, wear them.

I wore mine for a year but don't need it anymore. Sadly a lot of GPS know little about dvt.
