Web Designer for the forum - please allow Likes for replies and put a scroll to bottom of page button at top of each page please?

Request to the Web Designer for the patient.info forum -

Would you please allow "Likes" thumbs up for individual replies instead of for the whole discussion topic please?

Also could we also have a "scroll to bottom of page" button at top of each page please?

Could we also have a "Back to results" after we have posted a reply please (Ebay style) instead of having to go back to main menu and navigate back to whichever page we were on?

Many thanks.

    Hi m33r4,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Likes - this will be incorporated into a forthcoming update to the site which will also include other interactive features. This is in planning at the moment.

Bottom of page link - this is on all pages now once the discussion goes onto a second page. I will ask about adding it to the first pages as some of these can be long.

Back to results - when you post a reply you should be taken to the post you have just submitted. If this is not happening can you let me know which browser, OS etc you are using and I will check it in that set up.

    Regards,

    Thanks for that.

After the post I do get taken back to the reply page, however I was hoping to see an option as in EBay style where you can go back to listings - in this case it will be to go back to the chapter where the post I replied to was filed. I hope that makes sense.

    Kind regards.

Yes, makes sense but once you post there is a breadcrumb at the top of the page that you can click to go back to the topic level, in this case Chatroom or the level above/Homepage. We are in the process of rationalising and redesigning the forums so I will suggest a "Back to ..." button under the post otherwise you have to scroll back to the top to use the breadcrumb.
