Webber c fracture dislocation and broken bone at back of tibia

I had an accident coming out of a clients house last year i slipped on the ice and had some pretty nasty broken bones in ankle and dislocation. i had surgery plate screws and a syndesmosis screw. i have had the screw removed because it broke and i have been getting pain. having the screw removed has not relived my symptoms the bottom of my ankle continues to lock . and i get sever pain if i have been on it a few hours. The consultant said there is other procedures to try but not sure what. has any one else had ongoing problems after a web C fracture and a dislocation.
