Wedge pillow

Hello I think I may have asked this before.  Am thinking of buying a wedge pillow and have been looking on line, well known company.  Can anyone tell me what would be best or what to consider when purchasing.

Thanks.

I wanted to say have tried raising the bed but for some reason it does not work with my bed tried thick books under mattress but not that good.  I also have arthritis in neck and spine so worried about the wedge not being too hard.  Can you use a pillow on top?  Have heard these are not good for side sleepers which I am.

libralady13 I brought one from a company on Amazon and it was very good except that i too sleep on my side and for some reason like to take my arm under the pillow so i just couldnt get on with it.

Thankfully the company I brought it from were really understanding and I sent it back and was given a refund.I of cause lost money on the postage..

Prior to that I placed books onder our bed head to heighten it which my wife didnt like but unfortunately I had to lower it again as the bottom legs were breaking.

I am now using three pillows and I seem to be ok.

Hope that all helps and if you do decide to get a pillow get back to me and I will give you the company details.

Thank you for the info.  I am still undecided, I too am worried about not be able to sleep on my side like you I tend to put my hand or arm under the pillow.  I don't sleep that well but that's another subject so really don't want to risk it if it's no good for me.  Will try the 3 pillows and see how I get on.

I must admit I couldn't get on with it either and they are not cheap. I have lots of pillows staggered and this seems to be ok. I find it diffucult to sleep on my back anyway as I have always been a stomach sleeper. Out of the question now unfortunately!!

Yes I think I might give it a miss.  As you say they are not cheap.  Thanks anyway for your reply.

Hi I bought one from Amazon and tried it onto of the mattress but I couldn't sleep with it as I kept sliding down and was uncomfortable on my side . So I put it underneath the mattress and it was perfect .. For me but my husband said he felt like he was sleeping on the side of a mountain . So I had 2 mattresses made so as I would only raise my side of the bed and not his ... Bit extreme but it solved a problem

Yep I agrees with the multiple pillow folks.  I use several, more the merrier. I too sleep on side and put arm under pillow.

Someone on forum describe it as long as your torso is raised.

I've had back and neck issues with my autoimmune condition, but using the soft multiple pillows has not bothered back nor neck. Yea!

even cheap pillows under are ok.

Also sleeping on left side has helped tremendously! Stomach is in lower position on that side.  Let us know if any of these ideas help you too.
