hi Mike, week 3 is still very early days in the zoloft journey unfortunately. I was still getting panic attacks bad enough to have to take valium at 6/7 weeks. I am very slight built and also 63 years old but had no trouble stopping valium at all and havent had to take one in 5 weeks. It took till week 11 before i really thought zoloft was working

Bump it up by 25mg every 2 weeks until after that 2 weeks you are doing well and not feeling as though things are declining. You will get to where you need to be faster this way as opposed to trying to ride out too low of a dose for too long. Side effects lessen with each increase so don't be afraid of them.

I don't think size plays a role in seratonin regulation, but you can definitely ask your doctor.

As a side, my doctor attended a psychiatry conference and, regarding sertraline, the prevailing opinion was that the biggest issues were too much time between dosage increases, and too low of a dose to be effective.

Feel free to pm me Mike. I went through hell at 50&75mgs and made it through. I don't mind sharing my experience.

    Peace bro.
