Week 6 really struggling. Help

its been a little over 6weeks and am still struggling with spaceyness and dizziness. its like im on auto pilot. I am doing things but feeling out of it. im only taking 7.5 mg. should i keep going or is this just jot for me? has anyone else experienced this and had it go away?

    Hi Jazmin, sorry to hear you're struggling. I would say that what you're experiencing is quite common, at least it was for me. I also experienced the spaced out and feeling out of it, very fatigued and mood up and down around the 6 week mark. I'm just about to hit 8 weeks on 20mg and I must say this last week I've had noticable improvement and things have settled. I'm definitely still not "there" yet but I was questioning everything around the same period you're at so I would encourage you to persevere. From what I've learned it really can take up to 3 months if not more for things to improve significantly.

      you have no idea how much reassurance that gave me. i feel like i was asking and no one seemed to feel the same. i appreciate you responding and sharing your experience. Im going to hang in there. Glad you are noticing improvement, such a big win on this journey!

      Hey no problem Jaz. I know what it is like waiting for this medication to start helping, I think as sufferers of anxiety and depression, perhaps patience is not our strongest asset and I've definitely had to be patient on this journey. There's lots of helpful material within this sub (particularly from Katecogs and Ian) that may help to manage your expectations, but I suppose it comes down to riding out the first few months to see if it will work for you.       yes, I was able to get in touch with kate cogs. she was so helpful. i guess this spaced out feeling and dizziness is something many dont mention and was starting to think it was just me. im so glad i ran into this forum because it definitely has helped manage expectations. hope to talk to you soon and see how you are doing.
