Week 7 increased anxiety

Posted , 8 users are following.

I've been taking 10mg of citroplam for 7 weeks 2 days now. I've been doing OK but the last few days I've had increased anxiety as though a big panic attack is going to come on. I also keep thinking about death and getting an awful feeling of dread. Why is this happening, is this normal? I'm worried it's not working for me.

Absolutely normal stuff. Dont be in a rush to increase. Let your mind settle at 10mg and it just may be enough. I think most everyone goes through these stages. You will have blips all along through recovery, but they eventually lessen over time.

OK thank you will keep hanging on. I still get alot of muscle twitching, neck pain and back pain too. I have had various tests head and neck mri etc they say it is all down to nerves and anxiety. I also have a problem with swallowing which has improved over the last 2 months but I still find it uncomfortable and again have had various tests resulting in the same conclusion. Just want to feel normal again. Thank you

I've been taking cit for around 3 years and had alot of ups and downs on it I take 20mg , everyone who takes ssri's can have different side affects to the drug I suppose it all depends on the person in some ways and mindset. there not miricle pills like we all think there going to be I personally think medication takes you so far you have to take yourself the rest of the way to be in a place that your content with because I dont think your/Me are ever going to be 100% in today's world so there's no point in chasing something like that.

truth be told i think the key is facing your demons and do the opposite to hat your heads telling you to do because when you actually think about it properly and take a step back its not real and can not hurt you. stay as positive as you can surround yourself with the right people start up some fittness and eat right , YouTube motivational videos and plenty of rest and don't put to much pressure on yourself it's not a race to get better. chin up chest out you've got this stay strong 👊
