    Hi Kmm,

Try and not worry to much, I know it’s easy said than done, Howrver we all have intrusive thoughts sometimes, it’s how we deal with them.

I ‘m mother of six children there all grown up now, yet I imagine all sorts of bad things happening  to my family at certain times which caused me to have server depression by constant thoughts of danger and other weird things that were going to happen.

In reality it was just my anxiety  getting out of control.

So please try and not worry to much we all have these thoughts now and again.

Speak to your doctor if you feel worse.

God bless for now, hope you start to feel better.🌈

Are you currently in CBT? If you are, that’s great and you can work on your response to the thoughts with your therapist. So far (I’m also early in on Sert), the meds have helped me be able to implement my CBT skills much easier to reduce the rumination. But I still have the thoughts and think I always will because I am not increasing my dose above 50. If you are not in CBT, I would suggest following Mark freeman on YouTube and Instagram because he is really good and explaining the type of response that is helpful to reduce the stress from OCD thoughts.
