Hello.
I have lost weight only when I am SO nauseated and anxious that there is no possible way I could eat.
Otherwise I have put on weight.
I lost some weight recently from perimenopausal nausea. I discovered that if I "Graze" throughout the day, I have been able to keep the weight off and I actually feel better.
I used to "graze" eat all the time & had gotten away from it. I don't know why.
But I try to make me grazing foods healthy and as little sugar and as low carb as possible.

Not from peri, but lost a few pounds during menopause. I was blessed in that during peri I had no symptoms other than heavy periods. I had my last period in November of 2010, but had no menopause symptoms until 201, then I felt like I was going mad(still do sometimes). I have since read that some women have enough estrogen to sustain them for years sometimes after their periods have ceased so they come into their symptoms late, like I did.
Sometimes, especially on the weekends I'll go all day without eating because I'm just not hungry. Other days if I don't eat I'm starving. I make myself eat three meals during the week. My worst symptoms now is the health anxiety! It's the worst!. Also, achy shoulder joints, stomach issues, and my state of mind.
So after all that talk, yes I see women on here all the time talking about how they've lost weight. Right now mine is holding steady.
