Weight bear post ORIF

Hi there

I severed my tib fib and anklebone 8 weeks ago. Surgery followed 1 week later, plaster cast and I just had my fiberglass cast off 1 week ago. I have an airboot and have had physio 2X so far. I am finding difficulty weight bearing in the boot, pain from my heel and up the inside of my ankle when I attempt to even just stand. When I touch the ankle on the inside its extremely painful. Has anyone had the same and or has any advice? I have 3 plates and 13 screws.

yes , i found it difficult as well. the boot itself is uncomfortable and it rubbed the inside of my ankle where the stitches were located. the weight bearing got better for me was when i did full weight bearing without the boot. i found at least every week or two the ankle heals an make more comfortable to bear weight, its gets better with time
