Weight gain!

just wondering if anybody has experienced weight gain on sertraline. I seem to be putting weight on and eating more crap than ever 😦 just wanted to see if anybody else had experience it

    Hi Ryan it can cause some people to put on weight but without wishing to point out the obvious or. cause any offense but do you think maybe eating crap might be causing your weight gain?

      no offense caused 😃 lol.. it probably is but it's ever since I started with the sertraline. they are doing what they suppose to I think. going through a rough patch at the min 😦. but getting better. the inky thing is putting in weight.

      I lost 3 stone when I went on citalopram but that was mainly be cause I felt so ill that eating anything was a no go, survived on nutrient mikshakes, put half the weight back on with sert but probably because I am eating normally again. Ryan you have come so far over the last year so do not let this weight thing set you back, if you are feeling a bit yuk at the moment use this time to put together a healthy eating and exercise plan to distract you, it doesn't have to be anything major. When my husband was first diagnosed with diabetes I got him looking at the traffic light system on the food packs, you will be amazed at what crap we unwittingly put into our bodies

      I was the same on citalopram 😦 but switched to sertraline and it put weight on 😦 so I cant win lol
