    Hi tom68183

I am sorry to hear how you are feeling.  You haven't said anything about your eating habits or diet.  I would suggest that you make an appointment with a doctor so that he can find out the cause, if any.  Some people as they start to grow and gain weight often notice their stomach first, but this often does distribute itself more evenly.

    Good luck.

hi thanks for getting back, I eat well but now and again I binge, I have a varied healthy diet I mainly wonder if it's because the anorexia messed up my metabolism, I am growing like I mentioned and have raised by half an inch in 2 months just hope as I get taller the weight does distribute like you mentioned. Many thanks

Hi, yes it is possible that Anorexia has had an effect on your metabolism, it could be that your body needs to adjust to having regular food now.  I was wondering if the anorexia is making you think that your stomach is bigger than it actually is, I know that at times I have issues when I see myself, but other days I look at myself and can see the true picture.  I hope that you continue to eat well, your metabolism will soon catch up.

    Take care
