I gained 9kg in a month on this drug and my psychiatrist took me off it. I was only on it a month ago I stopped cold turkey and it was fine.

How long have you been on it?

hi I was taking it for 18 months 15mg I stopped cold turkey after gaining 30 pounds . first week I felt great , 2nd week I felt sick and couldn't sleep but that only lasted 3 days I found walking and a positive mind helped. I've been fine since then except monday and Tuesday this week but I've put that down to drinking alcohol over the weekend. I take vitamin b vitamin d ,omega 3 and magnesium. I was really nervous reading everyone's bad experiences but I guess we are all different. best of all I've lost 9 pounds in 3 weeks x

    Hi

I would reccomend signing up to the surviving anti-depressants site. They give great advise on how to do slow tapers to reduce the withdrawal symptoms. Lots of info on symptom management.
