Has anyone noticed a weight loss after stopping? I am only a week in and hoping to see some weight loss along with better moods.

My weight loss was of course to not drinking empty calories but also the Naltrexone which in low doses are used for weight loss. But I follow the TCM and so I'm right now focused on that with the added weight loss diet to follow in a month or so.

How are you a week on do you still feel strange side effects? I'm sure you will see weight off soon. My life is sport so no a issue for me.

I'm very sensitive to all meds so yes with a week on (I'm sorry I used the wrong abbreviation; can't believe it!) TSM (The Sinclair Method) I still have slight side effects. So instead of popping a full 50mg the first day I worked myself up. I still have the unfortunate gut issue (UGH!) but I'm sure in time it will get better. This is a 3-8 month project for me after years of abuse. Menopause thrown into that and a muscle injury well....weight just piled on very quickly. Doing sports in the heat of Florida's hot/humid summer took its toll. But I'm very pleased with this protocol. Keep on sporting!!!!!

FLORIDA you lucky thing I'm in Ireland it's always raining. I've been drinking a bottle of wine every day for years I just want to be in Control again. Baby steps for me. Don't feel so strange today only 3rd pill. You never think it will be you, we all judge.... I'm done with hiding my addiction.

Thanks for thinking I'm lucky to be in Florida...I guess I am but I'm originally from Finland and lived my life in Hawaii from where I moved here to look out for parents. I have known about TSM for over 20+ years as Dr. Sinclair did almost all of his research in Finland!!! His success rate was about 80% with his method. I will never give up drinking but it can never control me like it does now. I had to have help to put an end to this out of control situation or as Dr. Sinclair refers to it as a 'learned habit'. While doing TSM you MUST drink! The moto is "Drink to Get Sober' ...I know, goes against everything. Day by day, glass by glass....if I can do it, so can you!
From their website a specialist in this protocol:
Dr. Hugh Gallagher
One Step Clinic
Healthy Living Centre
So you see, I come genetically from a country of 'alcoholics' and here in the USA we have Happy Hour. So with life's struggles...things have gotten out of hand, for me. NEVER EVER THOUGHT I'D BE IN THIS SITUATION! NEVER! But here I am....A bottle of wine easily every night and sometimes with a cocktail to start with first....but I knew it wasn't what I wanted and it was taking a toll on me physically, though not socially. Have you watched Claudia Christian's documentary ONE LITTLE PILL ? You must....also go to their website: https://www.cthreefoundation.org/
It is a wealth of knowledge and that info with getting a dosage of Naltrexone and working WITH the pill and not asking it to cure you alone; within 1 week at the 50mg dose, you WILL experience (not feel) the difference. I thought I was hopeless but it seems to work for me even at this early stage.
Check out their European site...it seems in the EU Naltrexone is over the counter (at least in Spain!) LUCKY! Stay strong.

I had a dry year in 2014 and just swapped beer for cola.
?Seven weeks of Naltrexone this year and I find it hard to eat two meals a day!
?Luckily I have about a year's worth of fat deposits to get through before this becomes a concern.

You sound very positive I believe it's habit for me well I'm addicted but I'm determined to be back in control. I've normally drank a bottle of wine at this time I've had two glasses thanks to Nalmefene..... Did you stop taking Naltrexton end up drinking again?

I've been taking Naltrexone this year. It's cut my drinking by around 50-75% but there's still some way to go.

Me too!!!!! I'm just starting so I'm praying this program works for me and that i'm in the 80% category and not the 20% who fail.
