Weight Loss Worried

Hi I'm new to this.

I have been on Flouxetine 30mg for more than 15 years but lowered my dose to 10mg before March of this year. I was 99KG before decreasing my dose. Had health scare late March & early June of this year and I am now 90KG and lost interest in Food. My GP has put me back up to 40mg. I am worried that my weight loss may be down to illness & not anxiety. My GP thinks its anxiety, but Ive never lost this much weight in the past on Flouxetine. I have had Testice Scan, Bladder Scan & Kidney Scan. Blood Tests (FBC) & every cam back fine in April. But I still get nagging pains in back (near kidney location). And obviuosly worried about weight. I eat, but only because I have to. I go to the gym every night and have plenty energy. Cant see a reason why I have lost weight

Hi Paul, you say you only eat because you have to, so I can't imagine you are eating a lot, you also say you go to the gym every night I think you are burning more than you are eating it's the reason you are losing weight, does the dr know about you going the gym daily, I personally think your doing way more than your body's capable of you armt eating much

      Hi Angela

I eat 3 square meals a day + 2 protien bars, but I never feel hungary (even though my stomach does rumble). I used to love my food & look forward to eating. I agree with you a litte with ref to Gym & know I would have lost a little weight due to Scan/Blood results etc, but it seems to have continued. I do suffer from Health anxiety & Depression. Its strange but I dont have any other symptoms apart from feeling Malaise (ie not right in myself) and niggles in my ribs (both sides) which my GP has put down to muscle nerve pain, which I doupt a little. I have energy though.
