Weightbaring after non for 6 weeks broken fibula with surgery

hey, good news i was told yesterday im ready to start full wb after 6 weeks i broke my fibula and had a talar shift which i needed surgery too fix, ive started today putting weight on using crutches and its been a bit painful and a weird feeling but feel so much better already as i was not allowed to use crutches as i am dyspraxic my balance is awful, was wondering how long it took people to be weight baring without crutches and what to expect? this is exiting but scary for me 😃

    less than 2 weeks. It hurt, but just keep pushing through the pain and it goes real quick. I started by practicing shuffling sideways holding onto counter, and it just evolved naturally as long as you keep pushing yourself slowly.
