weird cluster of blisters on inner vagina lip

Posted , 3 users are following.

i noticed that these blister looking things have emerged for a few days now, and generally i have no other symptoms like abnormal discharge or whatsoever. however, it does hurt a little when i touch it directly or when i pee (because im assuming the pee came into contact with it).

could it have been due to the friction from sexual intercourse or is this something serious to be concerned about?

It could be VP. which is normal. It does look red and irritated though. I suppose if it is VP It could become irritated with friction. Herpies can look similar to that in small clusters so I would just check it out with your doctor for self assurance!

thanks for your reply! the thing that worries me is that i only noticed the clusters these few days and it has been painful recently when it is being touched. i hope they aren't herpies or anything serious.

does VP look like this in clusters though?

Yes it looks a lot like VP. but with VP you typically don't have symptoms at all. it's just little bumps that are completely normal. but like i said before, I suppose if there was friction/dryness they could become irritated. I would definitely go see your doctor though. I also read that a lot of times genital warts and VP look very similar. the only way to know for sure is to go get tested. I know its daunting talking to a doctor about something so personal. but they deal with this stuff everyday! good luck and keep us updated!
