Weird cluster of bumps on penis shaft

Posted , 3 users are following.

Hello. I've had this weird cluster of bumps on my pens for several years now, though its asymptomatic. I'm not sexually active and have not been sexually for some time. From what I can tell it might be a complication of my circumcision which was done when I was a child. There is a darker section of skin that runs up through this cluster to where the frenulum normally would be. Its basically invisible when fully erect. Either way, just wanted to see what people here had to say before I bring it up to my GP.

I think you are probably correct about it being keloid scarring. Nothing wrong with asking your gp next time you go though.

You mentioned it's less noticeable when hard, so where you hard or flaccid (soft) when you took those photos?

Yeah these were taken when flaccid. You'd have to have prior knowledge to see it when its erect.

Even more likely it's keloid if it disappears as the skin stretches with erection, especially since it appears you're cut tight.

Thanks for taking a look Rob, appreciate it. I'll bring it up to my provider next time I'm in. Glad to hear you're not suspecting HPV as I was deathly worried. Anything I can do here to help the healing process myself? Coconut oil? Or any other substance I can use on my own?

Nothing I'm aware of for keloids apart from surgery. Which in your case is probably not worth it & will further disfigure the area.

If warts, I'd expect them to either show more with an erection or hurt like a verruca with the added pressure from below.

      Rob.
