hi everyone, I'm peri menopause and had all kinds of symptoms (the usual ones!) but this is something weird just recently i get a cold feeling across my chest, sometimes my stomach then my arm and had it once down my back, its kind of like some one pouring cold water on me, but just in one place! some days i hardly get it but days like today I've had it all day in different areas of my body, anyone else had this?

I've read that you can get cold flushes after hot flushes I'm just not sure if it's a cold flush or some other weird symptom I had hot flushes 2 years ago but they disappeared.

yes, it is so scary... I had MRI and nothing showed up, I was thinking I had blood leakage in brain or something horrible 😦 it was only on left side, thought about MS too but nothing... and Doctors were looking at me like I was kookoo 😦 but could not explain them the feeling other than cold water feeling poring 😃

i had an mri which shown inflammation on my brain, but ive had that every time i take a certain antibiotic, they put it down to possible ms but they even question that as attacks 4 years apart and each time i take that antibiotic, i get the numbness on rightside of head and try not to pain as my mum had a brain tumour, easier said than done though x

Yes, I have had this. I feel like someone is pouring cold water on the inside of my thighs, inside my body; it is the weirdest feeling. I also get a lot of numbness, zinging, and tingling at the same time.

yes, i get the same! , the tingling and numbness too sometimes all at the same time or sometimes just the cold feeling on its own, its reassuring to know other ladies are having these crazy symptoms.

thats interesting i take a probiotic but at bedtime, i'll try it before my main meal now see if that makes a difference thanks! its weird when i lie down my tummy is flat but once i stand it reappears how odd is that i mean where does it come from!!!

I know! that's totally me too, Yes give the probiotic a try before a big meal and see if it makes a difference. I was told its due to a slowing of the digestive system in menopause that creates trapped wind but also added water retention which we get more of in menopause too, fun times! 😁
