Weird discharge / color

Explicit content I must say first off.

Got diagnosed with herpes type 2 on December 15th .

Only had one outbreak so far.

Right now I'm currently taking medicine (flagyl) for my bacterial infection ... I'm also on my period should be off by Saturday. I've noticed the last couple days that when I wipe I don't see hardly any blood ., more like brownish pinkish like discharge my doctor told me that it's implantation bleeding which is where the fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine lining ... A early sign of pregnancy ..

I don't know if it's because I am taking the medicine or what but the brown like discharge had me very nervous ..

But I don't have an odor when I wipe or anything like that , it doesn't burn when I Pee or none of that ...

Haven't been with anyone besides my boyfriend and barely that since I got diagnosed .

Any of you ladies ever had brown like discharge ?

Opinions , comments, thoughts would be a wishful thinking For me !

Hi Hun why hasn't your doctor given you a pregnancy test?? I have had brown discharge with a period before and it was nothing to worry about but I am on the pill.

Thank you so much for replying !

But I didn't go up to the office and talk to her I called her over the phone and told her what was going on ... She told me to come in but I'm scared I don't wanna be pregnant . I've never bled brown before and even tho it's gone now it was kind of scaring me.

Like I said I'm taking medicine to treat an BV so I don't know if that was the reason or what ? I am too on birth control but I stopped taking it a little back , missed a pill or two and just stopped taking it.

I read about what can happen when you're pregnant and have a baby with herpes . It's a scary thought that I really don't wanna have to go through 😴😓😓😓

I haven't been on that medication before so not sure. Do you have any other signs of early pregnancy? You could take a home test?

You don't need to let herpes affect your decision to have a baby - there are things they can do to prevent the baby getting it. In fact I'm pretty sure if you have a c-section then the baby can't get it (but this isn't the only way to prevent it) Just make sure you go to the best doctor you can who know what they are doing and are supportive. Don't let any doctor dismiss your fears or questions and know that whether you are pregnant or not you have lots of options smile

I never had any discharge while i was pregnant. I know each pregnancy is different but it could be a lot of things!

Take a home test and at least you'll know what is going on!

Now, if you don't want a baby because you don't want one, it's fine and let it be! But it's if because of herpes, don't let that stupid virus stop you!!!!

I asked the doctor about it the only time i saw her.

I would like to have another baby one day and i wasn't sure if i could or if i had to adopt again (we adopted my oldest when he was a baby and i have another one conceived naturally who is 4 months now) and she said there was no problem whatsoever, you just have to take valacyclovir from week 36 till your delivery and if you have a breakout even while taking the meds, they are gonna do a c-section.

I am not trying to convince you to have a baby..if you don't want it, it's fine! I just don't want you to let herpes stop you if it is what you want!

    Good luck dear!!!
