Weird feeling 5 weeks after hemorrhoidectomy

Hi guys,

It´s been five weeks since I´ve had a hemorrhoidectomy. However, after each bowel movement, it still feels like my bowel is not empty in combination with a swollen feeling near my anus. I am afraid this means there are still hemorrhoids as I´ve always had that feeling before the surgery aswell. Could someone please tell me whether or not this is normal? I am very afraid that they already returned, although rationally the odds are very low..

    i am 10 days post hemrrhoidetomy and feel the same way.. does it get better ?! please reply if you read this. besides the pain after bm this is one most annoying part of delaing with the surgery
