weird feeling in my head can't sleep!! help please

I've had this weird feeling for about a week...it's like a tingling in my head or something but it lasts for hours and hours and it's worse when I'm laying down..once I finally fall asleep it's like a jolt inside my head that wakes me right back up...it's 3am and I have to work at 5:30am...I'm also getting hot and cold flashes..and my legs are weak. my ears ring too a lot and I'm dizzy sometimes but I don't think I'm dizzy with this..this is so terrifying to go through I'm constantly thinking I am going to have a seizure or I have a brain tumor...I've been to 4 Dr's and they took a bunch of blood and heart stuff and did weird strength tests but didn't do a cat scan or anything because they said they don't think I have anything wrong neurologicaly..I'm so so so scared right now and I'm 4 hours away from home so that's not helping. they sent me to a counselor for severe anxiety and depression and she wants me on pills but I'm scared of pills..has anyone else experienced this???.....

I’ve had the same thing too and it is my anxiety. I’ve had CT scans because i was scared of what was going on. Everything came back clear. If getting a CT scan makes you feel better then demand it from your doctor. If they say no to it, tell them to document it in your charts that you asked for a CT scan and the doctors refused. Sometimes we need piece of mind to help us feel better. i still suffer from head pressure even though I know everything is fine. If you do get a Ct scan and it comes out normal, just understand that it is just anxiety and nothing physically wrong with you. Don’t go chasing a illness because this in the end will make anxiety worse. Try to relax and focus on other things (i know this is easier said then done) but trust me you will get better!

well this sounds weird but I started staying the night somewhere else and it started going away and i don't really stay home anymore but I had to ignore it.. I was getting very mad and I was tired which didn't help, but I'm having some other issues now so lately I haven't really been sleeping
