Weird Foot Pain?

Posted , 3 users are following.

Decided to try ballet, when in the middle of class I felt a huge pinching pain on the outside of my foot. There is no swelling or bruising to indicate a sprain or tendon strain. It only hurts sometimes when I walk, especially when I get up in the morning, I've tried ice and rest for a week with no changes and I'm lost on what I should do.

Any help would be appreciated.

is it a form of cramp as this can happen. please make sure your teacher is properly qualified and CDMT registered as well. If he/she is properly qualified they will be able to look at your foot when you point and assist you. good luck

Keep up with elevation and ice--- could be tendinitis. Maybe try foot exercises. If you keep having pain, go have it checked.
