Hi Maria, I do feel for you. I have so many of those odd and random feelings and pains that scare me so much. I keep trying to tell myself that a) if anything was seriously wrong I would have collapsed for real by now and a diagnosis would have been made and b) nobody could have so many things wrong with them as my symptoms suggest (heart, brain, cancer etc)!! I honestly think it is all hormonal plus a lot of health anxiety that makes us hyper-aware of what should be minor things. But it's so hard to remember that in the midst of it all...Sending hugs xx

You are so right anniemae. I have so many weird aches, pains, twitched, etc. My health anxiety is awful right now. I can even watch commercial on tv about deadly diseases. It seems like there are so many.
Also getting life insurance stuff in the mail about final expenses! I have good and bad days. Today not so good. Depressed, missed church again, in bed. The depression just came up in the last month. I mean I would have a moody day and then it was over. This has been going on for about a month. I'm hoping it will pass soon. I need me back.

Hi Juanita, I feel bad for you, I had that bad depression/doom/gloom every morning for 6 months STRAIGHT!!! I thought I was really losing the plot... I had to do meditation, CBT with a therapist, and walking, and it's still here but not nearly as bad, that was one of my worst symptoms as it got a hold of me and wouldn't let go.. I would cry, cry, cry every morning it was ridiculous.. I too could not watch anything bad on tv, I still can't I choose not to it's depressing.. But before I couldn't it would set off all my bad feelings.. I hope your feeling better soon! What are you doing to try and get through each day??

I watch funny tv shows. I put tumeric in my food(it's a anti anxiety). I have a meditation app on my phone. I'm rejoining my fitness center next month and taking yoga and a weight class. Most importantly I'm praying.

I do sympathize and totally relate to what you're experiencing. I have had so many bizarre symptoms since peri began... allergies, thinning hair, very dry red eyes, constant runny nose, achy joints, tinnitus, and my favorite... off balance, weird dizzy head. All that compounded by a nasty bout of health anxiety recently, which I have not had in a while. I am 2 1/2 years without a period and I still experience some weird stuff, but it is definitely better than it was. I attribute most of it to hormones, which are in every part of our body. It would make sense that it would take a long time for it all to work itself out because our hormones don't just "shut off" , they decline in increments over the years. I agree with Annie Mae... I feel if something was seriously wrong it would have presented itself by now! I keep up with my doc appointments and try to take care of myself the best I can. I think that is all we can do to get through. And we will.

Hi Suzanne, I feel so relieved knowing someone else has the off balance dizzy weird head...(not that i want you to suffer but you know what i mean!) Sometimes it's constant, and I can't get used to it even 2 years on...aargh xx

I feel the same! I do not want anyone else to suffer, but it does bring me comfort to know that I'm not alone. I have been dealing with it on and off for years. It is my worst symptom still! I can go a little bit without it and then it hits. I just had it 4 days in a row 😕 And then sometimes it feels that it's just constantly lurking in the background, if that makes sense? Like a mild unsteadiness or that my brain is misfiring. Blah !

Hi Suzanne, I think it's cause by hormones trying to adjust.

Hi maria, wow you sound like me, I even wrote that post the other day, stabbing pains in head! I too bent over and had the worst stabbing pain behind/in my left eye, it was the middle of the night and was just quickly running to the bathroom.. I sat up fast and the pain stopped but the sensation stayed and I was scared to move my head around.. These symptoms are awful and scary I know, and I do get a lot of weird head feeling also.. After that episode a few days ago, today I have the worst clogged sinus sore throat and laryngitis, I can't even speak, along with body aches and fever, so I guess my weird head stabbing eye pain must have been this crappy flu/ cold I have and was just pressure building up. I do have sinus polyps so it's not nice all these horrible feelings. Maybe you might be getting ready to come down with a cold too.. Lots of rest and don't move around to much today. Hope you feel better soon. ?p.s also the fast heart beat is the anxiety from feeling scared of the weird head sensation you felt, I got the fast heart beat sweaty feeling after feeling my head pain..

Gypsy, I just reach 12 months and the hot flashes die down and the Palpations too..but I don't trust it Anixety would bring it back, I hoping that will go soon,I could put up with the hits..but not that it's to much makes me think something in my throat when nothing is along with list of crap,it wouldn't let me sleep sad..but I take each day as it comes as they say I been through it 8 years leading up to Post so I'm still here Lol

I know what you mean it's really all hard to take.. But each day at a time. My aunt says symptoms subside as quickly as they came on after about a year and a half to 2 years of really intense symptoms.. I really don't have any idea where I'm at in my cycle as I had a hysterectomy years ago but still have ovaries. I do journal my symptoms and mine do come back at the same days each month.. I never really put 2 and 2 together until I was about 43 and started getting really bad joint pain, which blood worm shows rheumatoid arthritis, which I think is all part of my hormone mess too, but either way joints are very swollen and painful, and here I am 47 now with a whole slew of other crazy symptoms, wish it would all end soon for us all.. Here's to better days!
