Weird head or neck and body feeling

It's currently around 4 am in Australia and I've just woke up and I tried to get out of bed to get water when all of a sudden I get this severe and I mean SEVERE dizziness. It feels like my neck and head is falling at rapid speed and whenever I try to move it or get up I can't feel half my body or I'm just so DIZZY/LIGHTHEADED. I'm extremely upset considering I deal with 24/7 lightheadedness in general and this is just all new to me except for when I was getting a facial done I was laying on my back for at least and hour and when I got up I had this feeling but it went away after 10 seconds but now this is constant and I can't move or get out of bed. It feels like my head is falling rapidly and like their isa car speeding around in my head/neck yes it sounds weird but that's what it feels like when you go on a rollercoaster and you get that weird head pressure from falling. It's going through my whole body and I can't even walk because I feel so drowsy. Please can anyone tell me what this is??? sad

    Did you not contact your doctor? Sounds like a form of vertigo. I had it once and it took about four days to recover with medication for a middle ear infection.

      I'm waiting for the doctor surgery to open it is around 6am now and it opens at 8:30 so I still have a while but when it opens I'm going to call to make an appointment to see my doctor. I'm only 20 so this is quite scary for me. It's funny you should mention an ear infection because I've had the flu for five days and I'm sure it was affecting my ears pretty badly but I didn't see the doctor as being sick can make you really tired and I just couldn't leave the house. But I will check with my doctor today and see what he also says. Thank you for responding, I do think it's some form.of vertigo but at the same time I'm unsure. 💫

      I'm surprised that are managing to type with your head going round.

      Did you take anything for your Flu  that could have caused a side effect.

      Hope tour doctor can give you a quick fix. I read the other day that Oz is having another flu outbreak. Usually your Aussie backpackers come over to the UK and spread it around :-)

      I was laying on my right said while I wrote this which is my good side. My head feels better when I woke back up this morning but it's still there in the *background*. I don't know really what to do I haven't gone to the doctor because I don't know what he can really do. I've seen an ENT five times I see her again in a week but she hasn't really done anything for me. I don't think it's just vertigo and they don't seem to want to investigate what it is. The only thing I've been having are strepsils which are throat numbing lozanges apart from that nothing else. And yes I don't know why people travel to other countries sick! Sorry for my fellow Aussies 😳😱

    No I can't tell you what it is what I can tell you is you need to stop, drop whatever you are doing and see a doctor, go to a hospital or whatever it is you have in Australia for emergency services. Five years ago one day I began having dizziness, balance issues and I would immediately fall down all within a nano second. My wife insisted I go to the hospital but I said no, my son said it was because I was taking to many pain meds but deep inside I knew something wasn't right but I never got help. The symptoms got worse and worse and worse. Fast forward to today. I'm 64 I've had multiple strokes, diagnosed with Complex and Simple Partial Seizure Disorder, white matter disease, CSVD, now I've been dealing with symptoms over the past few months that resembles dementia. Now am I saying if I went and got help 5 years ago I wouldn't be where I am today? No but I will never know 100% will I? Maybe part of it or all of it I will never know. You are young and have your whole life ahead of you, don't do what I did, mine is over, 64 is still young and this started when I was 59. There are so many plans I had once I had grandkids. I have them now, Anthony 7 and Shane 6 and they both light up when grandpa enters the room but there are so many little things I just can't do because I still deal with dizziness, balance issues, falling down and headaches 24/7 on top of everything else.

      I'm sorry you have had such a hard time and it's not something I'd wish on anyone. I have seen an ENT five times and I see her again in a week. But they don't seem to really care and no does my family. They just say it's all in my head and that I'll be fine but I suffer with this daily for two years almost already and I feel like if I go to the hospital again I will get abused considering last time I went they just sent me home and said it's anxiety when I could barely walk. After hearing your story it makes me feel for you because I hate seeing people suffer and personally I have nephews and I know what it is like when I can't play with them or even talk properly to them. I hope you get better and have some good memories with your grandchildren. Thank you for replying to me. Good luck 🍀

      Jon can u not go in to doctors you said you had few strokes . My sister also she had operation and years go by she wakes up again at hospital dizziness couldn’t talk barley was numb beleave it or not ecg so on couldn’t see stroke she had diabetes to . They treated it as strike gave needles I guess there side affects they took a chance it worked . So what I don’t get is if u have stroke how come didn’t show up as one ? Also I have 9 grand children love them all I’m not same as I was I had sever Gillian Barrie 1 year hospital I was still paralyzed when I got out . I’ve been sick with phnamonia several time crush lung due to it . Doesn’t seem when I cute my self so on I don’t heal fast . Also I been getting again numbness tingling left hand and sever Charlie horses back my calves when I get them I scream crying so my grandson poor guy my husband rub it till it goes away most time it’s earlie morning they hurt bad so when I walk it still killing me . I think I have cidp still waiting go back nerology I been waiting 8 months crazy they should of never closed my file cause I still was paralyzed due to the disease it’s already 3 years 3 months since still can’t walk long distance only short . I feel like u Tom boom . I do have diabetes got this winter when I gained bit weight so back gym 3 days week hard at times . But gonna say I’m also getting blood work again stuff waiting on nerology to call me but think tomorrow I’m gonna call them . Wether 2 years ago this started you should still go see doctor at times I forget lots to I’m only 57 with 9 grand kids I live for them they love me so much to . Your like me so they make you feel like when u had your own kids . Hang in there both go see doctor and be firm u pay for it so try shoot u out say I’m paying u to figure what’s going on with me case closed you don’t leave till.

    Do you feel tingling numbness . I had once this bad neck pain stiffness couldn’t move my neck turn it bad head acks. Due to how your laying some kind of I can’t remember what was called was few years back was very painful . Have you started any new meds? You said you had a facial maybe reaction to creams they used ? Think you should go doctors right away incase gets worse . Get blood work so on . Let us now how ur doing hun .

      I've gotten blood work it's all okay I have anemia but I'm taking iron for that and I go back in November to get my thyroid checked because it came back slightly abnormal. Sometimes I get pins and needs in different parts (fingers, legs and sometimes toes) but it can occur anywhere. And I get numbness in my face now and then. I've started new anti depressants but I've been on antibiotics depressents before and I've had this feeling in the past before I started the new anti depressants. I'll go see my doctor and ask if he knows what's up. Thank you for replying to me smile

      Your so welcome . Please don’t mind spelling so because my hands stuff get needles pins numbness if I tex more 5 mints . Your so welcome hun , we’re just one big happy family in here not on all the time just my appointments then get depressed a bit so I just try not to think about things cause it hurts to see ever one going through this and at the end of the day I am to . I did hun I got head acks to lots but then they found out I had diabetes runs in my family but also gained 50 lbs trying to lose it so maybe it disappears I wish . I’m meds for that just morning fast release . These Charlie horse back my caves I yell kills me but read up from gbs so of course back dr he checked it once says if continues which it is go back . Sure health care getting sick of me lol hehe 😎🤪  t. Thank god I live in Canada cause health care not easy for those that need lots dr I have 7 different doctors I’m sick seeing them I’m sure sick of me to lol but honestly there so good to me . Think you should tell them go in don’t wait hun tell them u want to see nerology put ground to doctor . Half these doctors should be doctors u pay them but it’s like there trying get rid of u not knowing that could be some thing serious . My grand son had same thyroid issues they gonna do one on me to . Check for Lyme disease to please let me know when see doctor what’s going on I hope you get better they find out the situation.

      Which antibiotics were you on as many cause people problems even long after they have been stopped.
