Weird head sensation, pressure on top of my head.

So I have this weird sensation on top of my head and when my anxiety is already so high it makes me feel so bad about it. Makes me feel like someone is touching my head ( i know no one is) and it makes me feel paranoid and like i am going crazy and makes my anxiety even worse than it is. Any one has this?

The sensation is most likely caused by your anxiety. Is it pressure or a headache? Those are very common. you’re not going crazy and you don’t have to be paranoid.

The main thing is be aware and accept that it’s happening because you have anxiety not because anybody is there. that way you won’t feel paranoid.

do some breathing exercises for anxiety and it may help to get rid of it. Take care

Thank you so much for your reply, it is more of a pressure then i headache. Also pressure around my eyes, i think my body is just super tense from anxiety and it makes my mind anxious in turn even more. Plus i have a huge phobia of being crazy, loosing control so most of my anxiety revolves around that.

Hi, yes - I absolutely can relate with the weird head sensations. Pressure at the top of the head when anxiety is building like a tightness or pushing feeling (hard to describe). Mine normally builds in certain environments (such as workplace or busy areas with a lot of pushy people). If is of any re-assurance have had MRI and nothing was found.

No worries - I experience this every day at work (in an office environment). First think in the morning = no head pressure. A few hours at workplace the head pressure / brain fog begins to build. It feels like my neck is so stiff it could crack.....
