Weird head space feeling

I have been feeling zoned and spaced out for a long time and is starting to get discourage about the feeling. I have been to the emergency room 3 times and they continue to convey that nothing is wrong with me at all. The way I feel says differently, sometimes I wake up and the room is spinning and everything is unfocused and zoned out. I feel like this periodically but this is the longest it has lasted and I’m so scared that it starting to mess wit my mental state. Is this a mental disorder or a health problem? I’ve finally had the courage to make an appointment with a family care doctor that I will see soon and hope to some info on how I’m feeling. I’ve ready you all post about the vitamin D and think I will go buy some just Incase my level are low and is causing this feeling. Can someone please let me know if there is hope that I will be able to feel normal and live a regular life again.

There  Is always hope. I had your same symptoms for a long time when I was in my 20s. All my testing was normal. It all came about from a history of long-term stress and anxiety. After certain time, your body “acts out”  with symptoms. Symptoms related to anxiety are telling you that something is just not right. There is too much stress.

Can you think of any areas in your life where you are  feeling stressed or anxious?

if so, discussed this with your doctor at your appointment. Your doctor may either prescribe you some medication and or advise that you speak with a counselor who can help you manage stress and anxiety.

Your symptoms are very common in people who suffer from anxiety. Symptoms of anxiety will not hurt you although they can be scary. If it ends up you do have anxiety,  you need to work on managing it and get to the root of what is causing it. That’s where the counselor comes in. Sounds like you are otherwise very healthy.

Take one day at a time and remember to do things that make you feel relaxed  and happy. Don’t take life too seriously.

I listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety and they really help a lot! Take care 🌸🌸🌸🌸🙂

Hey Jan thank you the information this is really helpful and soothing to me. I just don’t understand how I can feel this way for long periods of time.  I try not to think about it but it’s still there. I just feel so tired and weak as if I’m drunk or high when I dont consume those things at all. How would a doctor help me cope with this? I’m not sure what’s making me have anxiety .. maybe I do have it and do realize it ... but me feeling this way is making me feel like really mentally unstable. I just want to feel normal and be happy like I was before. It’s like I sleep for long period of times and wake up feeling like I got hit by a car. I absolutely for the longest felt like I was the only person going through this. I’m glad I found this discussion board because it’s givinh me up that I will be able to feel normal again. How long did it take you to snap out this feeling to feel like yourself again?

This is a very common symptom of anxiety, it get it often too. I know it feels horrible but you have the power to control your anxiety and bring it down to a manageable level. Trust me, it isn’t easy but we still have to keep moving on in life with it. The best thing you can do during these weird head space feelings is drink some water and distract yourself because if you don’t do that, your mind will just focus on that and intensify it. Good Luck! I am always here to talk if you need it!

Thank you so much heather , I am trying so hard but I feel like it’s not getting better. I’m going to try and get this off me so that I can function. Hopefully I can find something to occupy my mind so that it will go away.
