Weird nerve type issues. Pins and needles but not numb.

Hello folks

Can anybody help with an issue I have been having?

Seems to have started off awhile ago where I was getting like a Dentist type feeling on my cheeks. That was spreading to my eyes, jaw and fore head. GP thought it was sinusitis. Gave me a nasal steroid to try. No joy. But it didn’t eventually go away but now it’s back. And again it’s intermittent. The Skin isn’t numb to touch but feels numbish. If that makes sense. Now over the past week or two things have escalated. Seems to be a lot worse when I am lying down and can ease when I stand up. The numbness doesn’t start at my cheeks but it’s mainly my jaw. Weird irritating pain in both shoulder joints that can radiate down both arms. As I’m lying in bed typing this, right jaw, left calf, baby finger of right hand and right hip are all affected. Seems to ease off a bit if I take ibrufen which i discovered today. Anybody any ideas? Back? Neck? Some kind of weird disease?

I tried googling but that just says MS or brain tumour as per usual. I have been really feeling the cold lately so wondering if it could be my thyroid. I have been taking a multivitamin so I would rule out any difficiencies. My girlfriend has fibromyalgia and she gave me a Lyrica to try and that didn’t help and I thought that would have for any kind of nerve pain so I’m lost.

I think on Monday I’ll give my GP a ring and get booked in for a battery of blood tests? And see if anything shows up?

Thanks for any help

Chris

Do not take lyrica, cymbalta or any anti depressants that they want to give to you, they do more harm then help !
